Muffle Furnace

A muffle furnace is a laboratory instrument used to heat materials to extremely high temperatures whilst isolating them from fuel and the byproducts of combustion from the heat source. Muffle furnaces allow for the isolation of a material to reduce the risks of cross-contamination and identify specific properties.
The working principle of a muffle furnace is straightforward. The fuel is burned in the chamber to generate heat, which is then transferred to the workpiece to be heated. The chamber is lined with refractory bricks to prevent heat loss.
Type of material is used in muffle furnace: The inside body is made up of brick and ceramic whereas the outer body is made up of mild steel. The machine comes with all the safety features for the operator.
