The use of a phototherapy machine: A phototherapy device is a unit that treats hyperbilirubinemia in infants by exposing them to blue light in the 420-500 nm spectrum. This light helps oxidize bilirubin in the blood, allowing the body to eliminate it effectively.
The principle of phototherapy light: Phototherapy is the use of visible light for the treatment of hyperbilirubinemia in the newborn.
